About Me

I first discovered my passion and talent for fundraising as a Grant Writer for Children’s Institute, Inc. in Los Angeles, California. There, I secured federal, state, county, and city funds for programs that support the welfare of children in Los Angeles County. In 2017, I moved back to my home state of Pennsylvania to lead the institutional development team for Philabundance, a prominent hunger relief agency serving Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. During my time at Philabundance, I secured the organization’s first federal grant and expanded grant revenue by 75% in my first year. I was proud to be promoted to Deputy Director of Development, where I played an instrumental role in securing a $1 million grant from a private foundation, the organization’s largest grant in history. In November 2018, I began grant writing on a consulting basis, and I quickly discovered that this is my calling. In April 2019, I transitioned to consulting full-time.

I find tremendous joy and satisfaction in supporting my clients secure funds for a range of missions about which I care deeply. From child welfare to food justice; environmental protection to animal welfare; affordable housing to rights for undocumented individuals, I am proud to serve a variety of social justice organizations. I live in the wonderful community of Mount Airy with my spouse and our three bossy cats, Leroy, Lucy, and Linus.
